Ministries
Jeans Sabbath
Once a month, we commit a portion of our day to service in our community.
Some of our favorite projects include
- GSAAC garden (This is a new ministry. Find out more in the link)
- Lake Lowell Animal Rescue,
- Interfaith Sanctuary,
- Corpus Christi,
- a food pantry maintained for our community,
- crochet and blanket projects for people in need, and
- singing for those with limited mobility at our local rehab centers.
Elders
Deacons
Deaconesses
Our deaconesses hold many hats in our church. They help the social committee. They send baskets to community members in need. They make sure special things are done on Mothers' Day and Fathers' Day.
Sabbath School
We have a Sabbath School for juniors and teens every week. During the school year, we have are able to have two Sabbath Schools for this age group.
We also have an adult Sabbath School that is currently studying the book of Revelation.
Social Ministries
Playing, worshiping, praying, getting out in nature, camping, and working on campus together have been key during 2020 and 2021.
Music
We are blessed with many musicians between our church family as well as the students at GSAA. Music is a key part of our church.
